Question 2

We compare our character to samara out of the ring. When researching we found that the colour contrast of the pale white and the dark was really effective, so we decided to do her make up pale white face with dark menacing eyes we then dressed her in a big white t-shirt and ripped it and put blood marks all over it. This indicates trouble. We also found when researching that silence was alot more effective as it created tension. We also made our chararcter move in a simple way by having her hands down by her side and just simply walking. This is very similar to the mannerisms that samara has in the ring. I would say that the imaginary friend in our film opening has more facile appearance as in the ring she had her hair over her face most of the time. We chose to show the face more as we wanted to see the eyes staring as this can be very daunting.
