Question 5
We started off the opening with our logo to promote our company. We have used lots of shaky effects in it so the audience get the feeling that she is feeling disorientated. To create an effect in the audience we have built tension by contrasting the dynamics of very slow and then it kicks in again. The music and audio we have used has also helped us to create this. For example a moment when this happens is when the girl comes through the door we wanted that to go slowly so you could capture the image of her imaginary friend stood right behind her and out side. Then as soon as she shuts the door the music gets louder and the speed goes back to its normal pace. Another example of us using tension would be the low camera angle shot of the imaginary girls feet coming into the shot this is done slowly with music turned right down. From this we wanted our audience reaction to be quite scared and creeped out. We experimented with the shots we did for example we did shot of the imaginary girls reflection in the window and the same with the girls reflection. We then built the end to be a big climax but it wasn't revealed it was just left so that it was clear to the audience that it was a film opening. to do this we sped up the shot we took of the face when it gets closer so that it was a sudden contrast.
